Qualisure Diagnostics Inc. acquires an array of intellectual property from Innovate Calgary

Qualisure Diagnostics Inc. has been assigned 11 pieces of intellectual property, including the HighLifeR machine learning algorithm, the Molecular deCodeR software, and a number of prognostic biomarkers that will guide treatments of cancer. Innovate Calgary, the innovation transfer and business incubator at the University of Calgary, ushered the assignment of each of these technologies that were discovered at the University of Calgary and at Alberta Health Services.

These technologies are the result of more than 10 years of focussed research by Drs. Oliver Bathe, Farshad Farshidfar and Cynthia Stretch in collaboration with other co-creators at the University of Calgary. The work was made possible by more than $1.2 million in research grant funding.

Qualisure Diagnostics Inc. is a precision diagnostics company focussed on developing tests to refine appropriateness of care in cancer patients.
